Classic League
The classic program is for boys and girls in grades 1-8 and is divided into four age groups. Typically the youth players are from Methuen, but players from other towns are welcome to join if their town does not have a lacrosse program.
Our program is focused on player development. and is built around the philosophy of Mass Youth Lacrosse. The teams are divided up so that there are balanced teams at each age group. The aim of the classic league is to provide each player with equal playing time and attention which allows less skilled players to be an equal part of the team and develop alongside the more experienced players.
Classic teams do not keep standings and there are no playoffs but we do participate in a annual jamboree at the end of the season. Methuen does offer players a chance to play on a select team as well which does have a more competitive environment.
Spring Registration typically opens in October.
